Gain Confidence, Lose Weight
Mean People

Since taking action to combat eating unhealthy, I realized that the main problem for many emotional eater is negative self-talk, low self-esteem, and a lack of inner motivation. Now don't get me wrong, I am not saying that we [emotional eaters] are victims, I am just saying that maybe sometimes we tell ourselves that we are.
Have you ever:
Went on a crash diet for a special occasion ?
Overspent on clothes, make-up, or a new hair style for a date ?
Skipped a shower because you were “home alone” anyway ?
Lied about your weight and/or what size you wear out of shame ?
Worn a girdle/corset/sucked in your stomach to appear thinner ?
Found out that an unexpected visitor was on their way over, and rushed to get ready ?
Cleaned your house top to bottom because you were having company ?
Well, the key to feeling better about yourself now (and thereby, preventing a binge) is to work on these things RIGHT NOW. By spending money on nice clothes for yourself, wearing pretty make-up even when you're home alone, taking a shower with a lovely NEW soap daily, dieting because YOU would love to see a slimmer you in the mirror, cleaning your home for peace of mind, and otherwise doing everything for YOU I can bet that your binging decreases.
So to test out my theory on your next day off:
Take a nice warm shower/bath
Put on clothes and/or make-up that you'd usually reserve for a date/going out with friends
Try a new hairstyle [women], shave [men]
Clean your room or house top to bottom, because “YOU” count as company
Ask yourself my list of 9 questions every 30-60 minutes
Dating YOURSELF [so to speak] can give you the self-esteem boost that you need to stop binging, and start living. There is so much more to life then just binging, all you have to do is feel good enough to notice it. Follow this plan, and I am confident that YOU WILL.
Sounds Selfish...
It is, but "you" are the one that is emotionally eating, so YOU need to put yourself first.
