Q: Is it okay to admit that you're vegan on a first date ?
Discussing your choice to become vegan may seem a bit scary, especially if you are worried about how your new partner will view your decision. Many vegans worry that bringing up their decision on a first date may scare their potential partner away, however MANY people have a hidden interest is what being vegan is all about. Hiding your choice to be vegan is not a good idea, because being vegan is part of who you are. If someone knows your name, then its only fitting for them to know what you stand for. However, make it clear that you do not impose your beliefs on anyone.
Family and Friends:
If you are close with them, tell them!. Yes, this applies to though whom have EE disorders as well, your family and friends love you, so reach out to them for support.
Q: What if I have an emotional eating disorder, can i share that on first date ?
For those whom suffer from EE [emotional eating disorder] and/or BED [binge eating disorder] this is a sensitive subject which should be reserved for committed couples. The reasoning being that oftentimes the reason for your disorder is quite personal, and for that reason is best to not discuss it with just “anyone”. Save this serious bit of information for someone whom loves you, because in reality if they do not love you it isn't their business anyway. The last think that you need is for someone to spread gossip about a condition which you are currently working through.
